Merrie Easter!

Merrie (sic) Easter everyone! While families gather, Hawaii's significant festival prepares to shine! The Merrie Monarch Festival is a historic competition that takes place the week after Easter. Hand selected dancers gather from all around to show case their talent. A truly priceless experience displaying the love, pride and character this 50th state in the middle of the Pacific Ocean inspires. This is the 45th competition that spreads over a 3 day period, beginning on Thursday, April 16,2009. Local supporters and visitors alike come to enjoy and be apart of this historical competition. In addition spectators will enjoy presentations, workshops, island products and food to engage in and fulfill the experience.
